Something an ex told me, masturbation makes you comfortable been far from me, you don’t get bothered, you think “what the fuck will he bring to the table, apart from dick and pains, I’d rather just touch myself”
In his case, masturbation didn’t keep me far from him, his narcissistic behaviour did.
But there is a downside to “touching yourself”… It desensitises you, depends on how frequent you are with it… Many of us are single because we already have a “big, black, strong, no drama, non-cheating dildo man or “always wet, never say i am tired soapy woman”. We gradually begin to loose the need for companionship, we do not understand why we should go through any trouble when we can just “touch ourselves”.

Masturbation has its pros and cons.
Pros : it saves you from wasting your pussy or dick unnecessarily for sex that might even turn out to be wack. It also helps you decrease your body count. It also helps you get a “quick one off” so you can think well and focus.
Cons: you become desensitised and unwilling to partake in any hustle of any type of “ships”, be it friendship, sidechicship, side nigga ship or relationship. You loose the zeal to want to put in any kind of effort to keep anyone… And it spreads really to everything in your life…
Soon nothing is that important, everything becomes trivial.
If a guy or girl starts doing shakara, your mind automatically plays it down to “who the fuck does this one think they are? Bitch get the fuck out of here”
Some have argued, that being desensitised means you are now at the “I don’t give a Fuck stage” but i dont believe that this is true. I have my opinions on this argument but I will save it for another time…
