According to the urban dictionary, BLACK TAX is the money that black people are expected to give every month to support their less fortunate family and extended families. This is more prominent amongst black families than white.
Some of you, especially girls, are in the university, you are training yourself and two other siblings without having a stable job. You have cast upon yourselves the burden that should have been left to your parents. The reason so many 19-20year olds are overtly exposed, is because they grew up too fast. They see what the economy puts their family through and they are already thinking about how they can help when they should be enjoying their teenage years.
Some of you follow me, you will bring money home and your parents will not even ask you where you got it and even when they do and you give some wack answer, they don’t probe further, because that money is a “blessing” and they really do need it.
Parents have subconsciously pimped out their daughters because of the home difficulties they face. I do not mean give their daughters out to a man, i mean put the daughter in a position where she feels she needs to contribute even though she doesn’t have a job. This is not me placing any blames again like i said initially.
I speak to the new generation of parents and most especially mothers, do all you can to provide and protect your child, you have seen first hand what over exposure can do to a child, let your children mature before you begin to accept gifts from them. Shield your children from this world. I know it is not easy, but do what you can.
And If you are a young person carrying the burdens of many, I Applaud you, I appreciate you, I see you but please remember this;
YOU ARE NOT ALLOWED TO SET YOURSELF ON FIRE TO KEEP OTHER PEOPLE WARM. . .
